Mums who have been through all the baby stages

Which stage did you find yourself wishing away the most? Not necessarily which was the hardest bc for example a certain stage might be hard but also really rewarding which counteracts the hard bits. Which stage was overall your least favourite? Please let me know all the details in the comments 🙏 What was hard, what was good?

Like 11-17 months for me

With my firstborn, the newborn stage was really difficult for me. Although my firstborn had awful reflux so, I wanted to get through the first 6months so she could have some solid food. Then I started to enjoy having a baby, once the constant sickness stopped.

I didn't feel like that with my seconborn, I enjoyed the whole process a lot more.

I wouldn’t say least favourite age but the age I found the trickiest was 3!

We didn’t have “the terrible twos” but we had a lot of very big emotions, tantrums and the want for independence without the ability which made 3 very challenging. Tantrums that felt like they went on forever and really hard to calm down etc.

The hardest with both of mine has been around 2/3yo. The desire for total control and independence, without the necessary physical skills and sometimes the lack of communication skills to express themselves. Newborn, then 12-18mo is my favourite time. Though my nearly 5yo is at a pretty awesome age/stage too.

Pram help?

I have the puggle urban double pram as have 2 under 2. Youngest is 12 weeks & absolutely HATES the bassinet as she likes to look around lol. She also doesnt look like she'll fit in it much longer as shes had a growth spurt. I know she can't sit up yet but is there such thing as an inbetween bassinet and normal seat?? Or can i use anything to prop her up so she can see abit better?

Can anyone recommend any suggestions?

Pram Walks

My little girl is over 6 weeks old and doesn’t really enjoy going in her pram for too long. Her max. limit is 20mins before she starts crying. I’ve been trying to take her on daily walks just to get her used to it, but have never successfully managed to cross the 20mins limit when I have to take her home to feed/ comfort. I’ve tried putting her in the pram after a feed, or when she’s really sleepy and even when she’s awake, but she never really falls asleep in it no matter when I take her, always awake & looks around and then gets antsy around 20mins mark time. She’s better with car seats and loves the carrier, just not the pram!

Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on what can I do to make her last longer in the pram?

Toddler scooters

Hey everyone, bit of a random one sorry but just wondering whether anyone can recommend a scooter they’ve had for their toddler (2 year old)? I’d like to get one for my toddlers 2nd birthday but everything just seems to be sponsored and there are so many options I’m overwhelmed!

I’d like some longevity and not something we need to replace come Christmas ideally!

Thanks for any help!
