Excited for my induction tomorrow and to finally meet my baby! 🥰🎀🩷

I know everything will fall into place, and my delivery will go smoothly. 🙏

I still haven’t finished packing everything. The nightgown I ordered from Amazon arrived today, but it’s huge and made of polyester. Now I need to run out and find something soft and comfortable for the hospital.

One question, would it be okay to bring my laptop? I could get a few passive tasks done instead of getting bored watching TV or YouTube.

I’m honestly looking forward to getting some rest there. My toddler has been super active lately, and I’m exhausted. 😀

I’ve been joking with everyone that my hospital stay will be like a little vacation where I can finally rest for a couple of days. 😂

Are you planning on getting the epidural? You can definitely bring your laptop but both of my inductions i wasn't doing anything until I decided on the epidural.

Honestly i would just wear the hospital gown and bring a robe. They are so comfy and if you have a robe you cab cover your butt. If you buy something out you need to make sure it has access to your back since you said you plan to get an epidural, otherwise they'll make you put on the hospital gown anyway.

I also didn't pack until the day before my induction with my first. I have a pile started for my induction next week so I'm slightly ahead this time. Lol

You could bring your laptop, but how intense are the tasks? In my first few hours I could have done basic stuff that didn't require a ton of focus, but after a certain point it wouldn't have been worth trying to pay attention to anything that mattered to me.

She's here!!!

Little miss decided to arrive at 37+4wks, a few days ago, she's tinyyy weighing in at only 5lbs12oz, but she is doing so well, bless her. FAR less dramatic than her big sister's start 😂😂.

She tried to need intervention, but then she changed her mind at the last minute and shuffled out 😂. Here in under 2hrs, not a bad attempt for a VBAC 🎉❤️ xx

Wishaw hospital

So we’ve been told by our midwife if you get to Wishaw after 9pm to go to the maternity entrance, which is fine, but if you arrive before 9pm to go to “triage”. Where is triage?! Do you go in the main entrance at the front then up to where the scans are? Just trying to be prepared 😅

Ready for weaning?

Baby can sit up - but only when assisted. He is very nearly there unassisted and will stay upright for a few seconds, but not for very long. Otherwise, his head control and sitting position is really strong. Is he ready for weaning, or do babies need to be sitting up completely unassisted first? Thanks!! X

Braxton hicks - uncomfortable!

Is anyone else like oh wow this is uncomfortable when you get Braxton hicks. Like I get them once every few days but when I do I’m like… wow! Imagine what contractions are like?! If this is a ‘warm up’. Anyone else? Haha.

C section

I’m potentially going to be having a C section. However, I’ve got a huge needle phobia and absolutely petrified of the thought of a C section.
I’ve had very mixed comments from people, about what the experience and recovery is like.
Is it as bad as I’m letting myself believe?

is it just me?

so today i wore fitted shorts and no matter where on my tummy they were it just felt pretty painful after say 5 mins of wearing them it happens with jeans too. Including underwear. I feel like the inside stitches are hurting more than the main outside stitch. Anyone else feel this kind of pain does it go away? im almost 9 months PP. Even when my baby steps on that area its really tender. If i use say anything somewhat tight in that area later in the day its painful to use my abs.
