Christening issues
So planning LO christenings and I have been told Im T.A.H for asking people to turn up in pastel colours rather then loud, vibrant colours. Cause I have a handful of people especially M.I.L who are refusing. I even said if you buy an outfit I will give you the money back for it.
Background story her side of the family don't actually see me as my LO mum. I am married to a woman and I carried but it was her egg so I guess they see me as just the surrogate or glorified nanny
Am I honestly T.A.H or are these people just being crappy and rude??

Scrappy and rude. Put your foot down and say they arent invited if theu cant foolow what you are asking. As long as your SO is happy to back you which if you have both agreed on a theme I dont see an issue with that, it then because their issue and they will be seen as the AH in this situation
Crappy and rude - just make sure your SO backs you up. Don’t give them money - if they can’t respect your wishes, then they don’t get the privilege of being invited. End of.
