To moms, I’m worried when my daughter’s born I’ll have a hard time waking up to the crying or that I’ll miss it.. how did you guys adjust is it really hard?

You're biologically wired to hear your baby cry, usually people say the opposite and they wake up for every single noise and sniffle.

theres no adjusting. you just do. no matter how tired you are, your body knows & reacts.

Honestly I changed over night, used to be a really heavy sleeper but when my daughter cries I wake up suddenly and am at the ready to sort her out. Can’t really call it anything other than instinct. It’s exhausting at times because babies don’t always settle well but I was really worried about this and it genuinely hasn’t been a problem
