I found out today that unfortunately my baby passed away, I’m 9wks 2d.
I spoke to the nurse about my options and I’m between doing the surgery awake or the tablets.
I am absolutely terrified of both options. Please could anyone who has been through either of these options Please share their experiences as I am absolutely terrified as well as heartbroken.

This was me last year I went the surgery route they give you 2 tablets that dissolve about 1hr before they take you to theatre. Rest as much as you can after sending wishes to you. Look after yourself x

I haven't been through either, but I did have a missed miscarriage where the baby stopped growing at 10w6d. Passing them was hard. The reality was not a bad period but more like labour at times. I wish I had been given the option of a D&C, although I'm not sure I would have chosen it at the time. All the options suck, what ever you choose will be what was best for you. I'm sorry for your loss and sending you love.

Had a missed miscarriage at 13.5 weeks and it was straight up labour. For a baby the size of my thumb. It was awful.
I had another one around 10w4d and wanted the surgery but it happened naturally waiting and it was better and easier.
I’d go for the surgery. Quick, painless and you know they’ll get everything.
Sorry for your loss.

I would opt for surgery.
I had a miscarriage at 9w 3d and opted for the tablets. I won’t go into it too much, but it was horrific.
I ended up with retained tissue and being given the tablets again, it was just as painful again.
I am still spotting now. Not sure if that’s anything to do with the tablet procedure
