I got told today that I’ve had a missed miscarriage after I had an early reassurance scan on Wednesday where they couldn’t see anything.
I’m obviously really sad and devastated. Yet, with my first miscarriage in March, I was an emotional wreck but today I’ve cried and then I’m not sure if I’m numb or I’m in shock as my brain seems to have gone straight to ‘we need to try again’ mode.
I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve not bled yet so it’s like it’s not real, even though I know it is or what..
I think my fiancé is waiting for me to snap or break but there’s just nothing. It feels so weird.
Has anyone else felt like this?

I am in the same boat. Also my 2nd. I told my husband there is some relief from the anxiety that I'm not longer "anticipating that the shoe will drop" but I realized how silly that sounds seeing as my relief came from the "shoe dropping"?. I think as this experience has already happened, there may be more of a prep in your mind/numbness. I definitely feel some of that numbness as well. Please take care of yourself ❣️
