41 weeks and partner has ended our relationship

I don’t even feel like I can speak to family right now, I don’t want people to hate him for the terrible timing but also feeling so broken 💔

I am so so sorry he has done this to you right now. I would reach out to a trusted family member and/or friend. Also think about who could be your birthing partner if your partner isn’t going to be there. Happy to chat over message for support xx

I’m so so sorry to hear this, as above, reach out to a trusted person and get all the support you need, don’t feel the need protect someone who’s done this, you need support ❤️❤️❤️

Terrible timing is putting it mildly, stress is not good for you nor baby as I’m sure he good and well knows. Speak to your family as you do need support, it’s not up to you to protect him from what people think of him.

Plain nappies

Can anyone recommend some plain white nappies, I’m sick of nappy designs ruining my little girls outfits 🤣x

Very concerned about breastfeeding

Hi all

I've always needed more sleep than most people [10 hours], and when I don't sleep I get irritable and moody. During the first trimester I really suffered, I cried everyday, and I stop functioning, I was so angry and depressed and that was because I woke up once every night at about 4am and then again at 6am

This thankfully went away and I felt like myself again but it was incredibly hard on me and my husband

Now we are very concerned at breastfeeding, my mother is pushing that I do it but I'm not willing to sacrifice my mental health and sleep anymore than I need too, I'm not the type of person that would be upset at formula feeding

Is it worth me giving it a try, we are just really concerned at my behaviour when I'm sleep deprived, and we are wondering if there is a point in risking that with a baby

If we formula feed I will still be sleep deprived but less so as my husband will do half the night shift [he is my hero]

Any realistic breastfeeding stories as my mum says the baby will start sleeping through the night after 2 months at that it will be easy

I have been cut off by people.

Okay so let’s try this again.

I am cut off by people who were at once a support system but love and have access to my baby but absolutely have turned on me. But at some point loved and adored me now hate me.

I know people don’t like people but I’m that horrible?

How do you handle that? And is it valid to feel hurt when you as the mom know they get to see baby but have nothing to do with you? Have lied and gossiped and had caused mental and emotional and distress.

To the flies on the wall, if you’re not going to offer support or respond the post it’s self no need to comment. 😁

Am I missing anything?

Just made up my nappy caddies! Let me know if I'm missing anything!

- nappies
- wipes and cotton wool
- sudocreme
- nappy bags
- change of clothes (2x bodysuit + 2x vest)
- muslins & thicker burp cloths
- changing mat

I don't really have any dummies right now so might add if she takes ones. Plan to breastfeed so no need for bottles or formula

Nursing bra recommendations

Looking for budget friendly nursing bra recommendations please! With my first, I bought a 5 pack from Shein just to ‘start me off’ but ended up in them for a year and they did absolutely nothing for me 😂 also not looking to spend like £40 on one bra so wanting to find a good middle ground! I have a large chest so would love something that provides a bit of support but comfort is key!

Is it normal?

My partner has a child from another relationship he’s a toddler, he kissed my son on the lips and now they’ve both got colds (my son is 4 months old). He doesn’t even care that our son together is ill, I know it’s a cold but he’s really unwell with it crying because his nose is so blocked but yet if his son from his previous relationship was ill he’d be all over him? Is it normal? I’m trying to make sense because maybe he just doesn’t know how to give that empathy to our kid because he’s his second kid and he’s just not learnt but I really don’t know. It’s starting to bother me
