Does a Membrane sweep hurt?

Curious if a membrane sweep hurt or is uncomfortable? I’m scheduled for an induction on July 16th for my 2nd boy. Don’t remember getting one done for my 1st. Can I opt out of it?

I opted for it a week or so before I got induced and yes it hurt and was uncomfortable but you should be able to opt out of it I’m sure

It is uncomfortable but shouldn’t be painful & you can absolutely opt out if you decide it’s something you do not want

It’s very uncomfortable but it may hurt depending on pain tolerance.

It is uncomfortable but it is over in seconds, if you opt to have it done you will be absolutely fine 🥰

Membrane sweeps didn’t hurt at all for me with my first two! Maybe some pressure but no actual pain whatsoever.

That being said, they should only be performed when you’re OVER 1cm, which is why it shouldn’t hurt, because your cervix is already open. If they’re trying to squeeze through an unopened cervix then heck I imagine that would be terrible.

You can opt out of whatever you want, nothing is mandatory at all :)

Fucking exhausting

I knew having a baby wouldn’t be a walk in the park but this is ridiculous, we’ve been up with her since 12:30, it’s now 3:20! I’m actually so exhausted I’m not even tired anymore. My fiancé has to be up at 7:45 so he’s gone to sleep about 30 minutes ago when I managed to get baby to stop crying. She’s 10 months and only had one night like this. I’ve also kicked the baby gate so I’ve possibly got a broken little toe, last week she headbutted me and broke my tooth so now I look like a crackhead🙃 I’m just adding things that have gone wrong to the biggest list 😭

Failed NST Test , 36 weeks and 3 days pregnant

Hi I’m a first time mom and I went in for an urgent NST test today at my obgyn office and baby boy failed the test he wasn’t moving much and his heart rate kept going up . They sent me to get an ultrasound and the ultrasound tech said everything looked normal , I was looking at the ultrasound and he barely moved . I kept telling my doctor that he isn’t as active as he used to be . My obgyn never takes my concerns seriously, what should I do ?

I’m 26 weeks 4 days today.

Earlier today (2ish hours ago) I went to the grocery store to get some stuff for dinner, while in the store I had some pretty bad lower stomach pains that made it hurt to walk but didn’t prevent me from doing so, those pains lasted until I got out of the store but I haven’t had another pain since. I was thinking if baby moves then I shouldn’t worry crazy but he never moves alot and I also have an anterior placenta so all his movements are muffled. I googled what could’ve caused the pain and the results varied from braxton hicks, placenta abruption, but also said gas/constipation. Idk what to think.
