I posted a pic of myself (26 weeks pregnant) after having my hair and eyebrows done and new comfies to try and make myself feel better, help with my confidence about gaining weight in my pregnancy. (6 miscarriages and 1 toddler and one on the way in the past 2 and a half year has completely changed my body and confidence)
A friend laughed at my photo and said how big I was and its just knocked me a bit. I'm Supposed to be going out with a different group of my partners friends for their birthday next week and I dont feel like I have the confidence to go anymore.
Probably just hormones but just needed a space to vent

This is ridiculous, you’re amazing and women are supposed to be “big” in and after pregnancy! Somehow that became a curse word! I enjoyed being “big”, because it let the whole world know that I was carrying my baby and I was fertile ❤️
That friend does sound insensitive and I do understand your situation.
My confidence (although VERY AFFECTED by birth and postpartum) comes from the miracle that I was pregnant and gave birth to my daughter ❤️ And that I don’t have to justify myself to anyone!
I’ve also just seen this amazing doctor online say that women are not supposed to “bounce back” after pregnancy! His name is Dr Jonny Miles.

You have to cut this “friendship” right now and stop to give excuses for such a horrible human being to treat you like that! Honestly it’s unacceptable!!!!!
Normal people don’t say this to anyone, even more to a friend?????
So many women tent to keep toxic friendships, having no idea the damage that bring to their life.
She obviously said that to hurt you and she feels pressure doing that because she knows very well we should never attack someone like that!!!
