Do you have a doppler at home?

I've just been curious! I've been checking up on my girl every couple of days briefly just to make sure she's good. This pregnancy I'm feeling movement a lot later and I suspect I have an anterior placenta vs posterior with my son.

I’m almost 19 weeks but my baby girl is the same way, can’t wait to feel her first kicks

Only reason I didn’t consider getting one is because I didn’t want not being able to use it correctly to drive me up the wall or thinking I’m using it correctly and having that false reassurance. Then my ob flat out said it’s a terrible idea to even get one. But then I figured she wouldn’t mind just doing a heart beat check for me at the office a few extra times outside our appointments but I was wrong . She actually thought I was just over reacting and basically said she’s not doing it anymore 🙄 . Like girl it only takes a second and you’re not paying for these visits but okay .

Thing with at home dopplers is that ur using high sound waves to bounce sound off ur uterus to the piece. And you very well could be listening to your own heartbeat. Baby can feel/hear all of that.

Lost confidence in pregnancy.

I posted a pic of myself (26 weeks pregnant) after having my hair and eyebrows done and new comfies to try and make myself feel better, help with my confidence about gaining weight in my pregnancy. (6 miscarriages and 1 toddler and one on the way in the past 2 and a half year has completely changed my body and confidence)

A friend laughed at my photo and said how big I was and its just knocked me a bit. I'm Supposed to be going out with a different group of my partners friends for their birthday next week and I dont feel like I have the confidence to go anymore.

Probably just hormones but just needed a space to vent

Related pregnancy

I’m 33 weeks pregnant and experiencing severe itching all over my body. The itching makes me scratch a lot, and now I have brown pigmented spots where I’ve scratched. I’m really stressed and worried about whether these marks will go away. Has anyone else experienced this during pregnancy?
