IS THIS A COLD SORE?

My mom gets cold sores and always has. I have never. My mom and daughter (2.5yrs old) always kiss on the lips and i ALWAYS tell them "NO!!!!" My mom knows my concerns and always replies, "I havent had a cold sore in a long time." Tonight, I noticed this on my child's face and im freaking out. Getting her stabbed for herpes (cold sores) tomorrow. Thoughts?

Anyone's little one addicted to the outdoors? (Not a complaint it was a goal)

Literally everyday for weeks now, even during the heat waves (obviously we went to shaded/wooded areas) we have been outside and he loves it. Our son's daily routine is getting up at 7am, breakfast at 7:30 then we are out the door by 8:30am and don't come home until 11:30am as we go hiking, parks, playgrounds and trails. When we get home he has his lunch, naps at 12:30, gets up at 2pm and we get ready and go out to the back garden for an hour. If it's a hot day, we stay in the shade in the paddling pool, if it's nice we play football ⚽. Therefore, we usually spend 4-5 hours outside per day. But he absolutely loves going out, sometimes by 7:30am he is pulling my hand and going to the front door 😂 loves examining different flowers, plants and trees... Every time he sees a tree he's like "oh wow trees" ❤️ I'm dreading UK's rainy season but plan on getting everyone a rain suit and boots to still go out, just will need to work it around his little brother when he arrives 😊 Wondering if anyone else's little one is the same?

Am I doing something wrong?

I’m so frustrated, I feel like I’m failing, like I’m doing something wrong with my 1 year old. He still doesn’t get he needs to tilt his head back to drink from a cup, and I can’t figure out how to teach him that.
Also he used to climb the stairs no problem and two weeks after putting up a gate now everytime I ask him to fo upstairs he just freezes and I have to carry him up.
And lastly, his feeding. Pediatrician told us no more formula and only 16oz of whole milk a day. Got it, but how much food are you guys feeding your toddlers? He woke up at 5am today hungry, like I’m clearly not doing something right, and now I’m exhausted, and I want my baby to succeed, and be independent and I get so frustrated and sad like I’m bad at being a mom.

And on top of that, we have this friend couple that had their baby girl a week after out baby was born and the guy keeps comparing our kids and I get so annoyed, there’s nothing wrong with my baby boy but it makes me feel even worse.

Sorry, I needed to vent

Husband, inlaw drama

Ladies I’m tired like genuinely tired and feeling like I want a divorce because this isn’t the family dynamic I want nor the emotional connection I want. I could write a whole paragraph and vent but atp I feel like I need needa speak to someone. Comment if you’re awake and would like me to reach out to you for a little chat. It’s 12:40am here in Australia where I am but I just feel overwhelmed and want someone to speak to. I’d never post my issues or tell a complete stranger but I feel like I should just for today.

Realising you married the wrong person

We were once in love, a decade ago. Now just two ships passing in the night. No friendship no intimacy no relationship nothing. I’m 6 months postpartum and suddenly my hormones seem to have plummeted I feel so low and I don’t know why. I love my children but all I seem to do is snap at them. I haven’t spoken to my husband in days. I just walked into his office and said “sometimes it’s nice to have someone to speak to” and he replied “I’m good I don’t need anyone to speak to” when I explained I was speaking about myself he responded “I asked if you were ok you said you was fine” put his headphones back on and looked back at his screen.
I think it’s time to leave.

Teeth

Hi moms! I need some reassurance. My 5-month-old has just started getting her first tooth, and today she’s barely drinking her formula. She only takes a few sips, then pushes the bottle away with her tongue or starts biting the teat instead of sucking. She also spit up after one feed. She’s still having wet nappies and is otherwise alert, just a bit fussy. Has anyone else experienced this during teething? How long did it last, and is there anything that helped your baby drink more? Thank you! ❤️
