HOME BIRTH + neighbours

Hey mums, I’m a first time mum with a 15 month old baby, I’m really set on having a home birth for my next baby, but I can’t stop thinking about my neighbours, did anyone let their neighbours know they were having a home birth, just as a heads up for noises during labour, cause I watch lots of videos of home births but no one seems to talk about how loud it can be and if their neighbours get upset, it’s just a general question I’m not to serious about an answer, but I just wanna know if anyone else spoke to their neighbours or anything similar, thanks guys☺️☺️

I did but because our neighbors are very friendly and it just came up, so not because of any potential noise. Do they hear the TV or music through the walls? If not then they are only likely to hear a few minutes of moans during crowning. For the rest the noise isn't likely to be loud enough.

I didn’t tell or ask anyone’s permission. Had a homebirth in our ground floor flat 😂 got pretty loud in the last half an hour but up til then was chill. No one said anything about it though!
