School uniform
I have a little girl starting reception in September and I ideally want a set for each day because they’re bound to get messy and I just prefer having a new fresh pair everyday. I think with boys it’s a lot easier as there’s not as many options but I’ve bought summer dresses (as it may be hot around September), pinafores and trousers. Question is how many of each pair should I get? I want her to have the option of pinafore or trousers depending on the weather. Posting here as you all experience from the last year :)

Bear in mind they may wear PE kit to school one day a week, would be worth checking.
I would personally start with two of each and see how you go - our little ones don’t always want to wear what we want them to! I found it’s the tops you need multiple of (including the cardis/jumpers) as they tend to get the brunt of anything messy, particularly if they are white! Obviously pinafores help to protect them.
If you’re worried about not having enough you could always buy more but keep the labels on the extra and return if you don’t need them (check how long you have to return).
