how to get baby to lie still for photos
I do monthly milestone photos of my daughter lying on a blanket and I can’t seem to get her to lie still. I know it’s silly but I don’t have a lot of good things going on right now and I just want one thing one good photo to look back on and I can’t seem to get it right. I’ve tried toys as a distraction and even another person to help but nothing is going right. I use to look forward to taking these pictures and now it just upsets me.

One day you’ll look back on them and say to your daughter “you never liked to stay still for pictures” and you’ll both laugh about it.
But honestly, just spam the camera button, you’re bound to get a couple “good” ones 🫶🏻
There's baby picture apps to make it a bit easier or you can just edit from your phone and make cute pics that way
I do our monthly photos in a big armchair, baby can sit and now she is waving the month number cards at the camera 🤣 maybe hang the same blanket as a backdrop and have her sit in front of it. Captures the month baby is crawling grabbing etc
