How do we feel about leashes?

In my opinion safety is more important than people’s thoughts and it’s temporary until they learn. We’re not at the full running stage yet but my son is super active as well and Im also considering😂

We bought one without even second guessing when my baby was 18 months old. All she wanted to do outside was touching cars... moving cars. 😅

Every outing became stressful but the day we got her butterfly leash, life became much more fun 😁

At the end of the day you’re keeping your child safe, allowing them the freedom to explore safely and teaching them how to walk independently. If people give you funny looks, it’s honestly their problem and not yours.

I bought one for my LO and it was the best purchase I’ve ever made, she loves wearing it and even asks to wear it at home (reins detached from harness of course) Now she’s so excited to go out and wears it proudly.

Always said I wouldn’t do it but also that was when I was a kid haha

I’m not sure how I feel about them now as I hate the idea but will do anything to keep my child safe. I think my dislike comes from how I saw parents using it, yanking their child towards them and always always shouting. So I think it may depend on how you use it, if it really is a safety measure then it can be fun and allows the child to explore still instead of having to go in the pram or in your arms but yanking and stuff especially just to get the child back to you and not when there is impending danger is not ok imo

My son is a runner and I definitely got him a leash. Sure ppl look and possibly just but their opinion doesn’t matter as long as I know my son is near me and safe. He’s the type to take off if he sees a ball or a lot of MOVING cars ie towards the busy roads

All for it, man! Especially if you habe chaotic children. I used to get curious and wander off all the time as a kid, so my parents got them for me and my brothers. I'll probably do the same for my son once he's old enough. It gives your child the freedom to wander a little bit, but you dont have to worry about someone trying to kidnap them or them going too far.

I used to be against it but with how this world is today, i am in full support of using anything to keep your baby safe!!!
