First holiday

We’ve got our first holiday in a couple months and our little girl will be 6 months at the time.
She’s quite a sensitive temperament, breast fed exclusively every 2 hours and won’t take a bottle. Doesn’t take a dummy.
We’ll be flying to Turkey (4+ hour flight) and taking a 40 min private transfer when we land.
Have bought a travel pram and travel bag for her car seat. Will be bringing our carrier for the airport. Have a rockit, ear defenders, suction spinning toys for plane.

Any travel tips please? Toys for the plane?

We took a long haul 10+ hour one when my baby was 5-6 months, and I thought they’re best to travel at this age!
For toys I think the spinning toy really keeps them entertained.
When you’re doing take off or landing, have her suck on your breast it helps with the pressure and everything.

Feeding on take off & landing will help ears.

If you start weaning, keep if simple to avoid taking loads of food!

Stick down toys are best for the window or tray but probably be happy playing with the safety card!

Good snoozeshade and take own cot bedding/ sleeping bag.

If you have a bouncy chair that collapses that’s also really handy for round the pool & in the room etc

Deffo buy one of those universal fabric pram shades, feed when taken off, toys for distraction. I was in turkey with my 10 week old and she was absolutely fine and she was bottle fed & fyi, if you stay behind at the end and ask nicely they’ll let baby meet the pilot and go in the cockpit with it being her first flight
