Realities of becoming a single mum

I've not posted in so long but I'm completely heartbroken. My fiance has told me that he no longer loves me, and hasn't for months. He says now he can no longer be with me and we are selling our family home and splitting up. We have an amazing little boy who will be 2 next month, and I am completely devastated. I feel like my heart has been completely broken and I'm really struggling to get on with day to day life. I'm trying so hard to put all my energy and focus on my little boy, but this is so raw and I just can't see a way out of this sadness I'm feeling.
I'm just looking for some reassurance really. I'm so anxious about my future as a single mum, especially as this decision has just come out of nowhere. I had such a wonderful happy life with the love of my life (or that's exactly what I thought) with our beautiful son, and now I'm just in pieces.
Has anyone got through a breakup with someone you still love and it wasn't your decision? I'm really struggling 💔

Not me but a friend...they also have a toddler almost 2...her fiancee one day declared he was leaving her for someone else. She was absolutely devastated for a while for sure. Felt like she just wanted to hide in bed all day and rot but her little girl wouldn't let her of course she had to keep going. With the help of family and friends she was in a much better place in a month and a couple of months on has realised the relationship actually wasnt as good as she thought. They're sharing custody so she gets more time for herself. And she's doing really well finding her strength and power. She's still furious with him but that will take time. So its not easy but you adjust faster than you may think. Good luck my love xxxx
