Im 15 months pp and its taken me over a year to lose five stone . I really struggled in the beginning dont be hard on urself think about wat ur body went though. Slow and steady wins the race.

It takes so much time to retrain your brain to lose weight. Here's the thing you can continue to eat chocolate and still lose weight you can have the occasional delicious restraunt meal you can even eat fast food. The biggest thing is calories in vs calories out say you go to the gym 3 to 4 times a week or you dedicate 30 minute walks a few times a week that would make you active so say you download my fitness pal it's what I use you tell it your current weight your height how fast you'd like to lose the weight and it spits out how many calories your alloted per day.

Then you just follow that input everything you eat everything even just nibbles here and there and it gives you a chance to pay attention to labels and serving sizes focus on protein and fiber

Its a mind over matter thing. Do you wanna lose or gain? I had my baby 2 weeks ago. I haven't eaten any bread, sugars, I did eat 2 small bags of lays chips, and I just drink water or tea. I went from 270 to 240 .

I'm exactly the same. I've now got a paid postpartum PT online. So now everytime I think about going mad on chocolate I think "it doesn't make sense because I'm paying X amount on a PT" lol

I’ve been losing weight eating ice cream every night, as long as you eat healthily overall a bit of chocolate won’t make much difference x

Yes

At 2m pp you are still technically in the 4th trimester and everything inside is still healing and our baby weight usually stays for a year for most women, it took me 14m to lose the 44lbs that I’d gained 3rd baby so if you make healthier choices from today, your post this time next year might sound a lot different. Look around for a fitness hobby but don’t start until around 3-4m, I started my Pilates and Zumba twice a week at 4m and from there I started losing ~0.5lbs a week give or take but that journey took me a whole nother 9m (so 14m all up) Walking w the baby while it’s napping is a good way to get steps in w the baby. We’d go to baby/mothers groups then I’d drop by the mall and push him around while he naps for 2hrs just window shopping ikea or mall. Get a cheap smart watch to see how many steps you do then put a goal for 10k and it’ll send you a congrats msg every day that you reach it.
