Is this just me? Am I being over sensitive?

So my partner has 2 girls from a previous relationship, his ex (another female), his sister (another female) and his mum (another female) all very heavily involved in his life.

For me I struggle because I’m like you have so many women/girls in your life that I feel like just another one.

His mum he treats like a child (calling to make sure she’s put suncream on!!!??) but they’re “not close” she wasn’t nice to him as a child so now I think he’s craving that approval. - she doesn’t like me because I was the next relationship after his ex and she over favours the girls to mine and my partners boys. Never makes effort to even see them but arranges with the ex to have the girls, take them on holiday, constantly buying them things.

And now that his daughters are getting older and he’s always on his phone messaging, calling etc I just feel STRANGE. It’s like a constant portal has opened from our house to their house and I don’t like it. My peace feels SO unkept. More people than ever are getting involved in every little argument. Everytime one of the girls misbehave even in the slightest he’s on the phone trying to sort it out. I just feel like no one gives a shit about me and my boys, none of his family or even him make effort with us. After me try try trying it always gets thrown back in my face.

They even invite his ex, new partner, their child together and the girls to their house but never us.

It’s really having a bad effect and I fear I need to walk away now as I’ve gave it 6 years and it’s only got worse and worse.

I was on board with him being in touch with his mum and sister and trying to sort out his girls behaviour while they're not with you... BUT, his family having the ex and her new family round and not you and their grandsons is just weird behaviour. Yes it's nice to maintain relationships for the sake of children but I feel that's too far when they don't have a relationship with current family. What does your partner say about it? I wouldn't be happy, but I'd also think bollocks to them. Do you have your own family? Spend your time with people who deserve it
