‘failed’ GD test

I had my GD test last Monday, and found out Wednesday I’d failed. Fasting was fine, but 2hr was 8.3

First few days all my finger pricks were fine, and well within range, sitting closer to lower limits than upper.
But since yesterday breakfast every reading has been high, and I can’t make any sense of it. This morning is the first fasting reading that is high.
I’m basically eating the same food or a variation of.

I’m aware I’m not even a week in, but I feel like it’s knocked all my confidence with pregnancy.
I was anxious/nervous for the health of little one as it was, and this just feels like an uncontrollable/unpredictable whirlwind 🤯

Didn’t feel like there much help/support from the hospital when they diagnosed, literally given a glucose monitor and sent on my way, was there for less than 5 minutes and waiting for a follow up appt for a growth scan and to see a consultant, with no time frame given for it.
Locally the only maternity contact given is triage, and it doesn’t feel like the sort of thing to be contacting them with.

I'd contact triage anyway, it's better to address concerns now before you stress yourself out and feel worse. Fingers-crossed things get better for you x

Hi, sorry you are not getting good support. I think you should contact triage (my understanding is that they should be contacting you if you have 3 or more high readings)

Sorry to hear that you haven’t had the support from them I would definitely contact triage as they can put you in contact with the right people if they cannot help themselves x

Anyone else having gallbladder attacks caring for a newborn?

Honestly I’m so sad that when I finally had that feeling like I can conquer the world of motherhood comfortably because I had an emergency c section I’m having gallbladder attacks!!! Like I just wanna be able to give the best care to my baby and I feel like I can’t because for one I overworked myself in the first 2 weeks of recovery taking care of my baby and now that I’m finally getting used to my body again this 💩 happens!! (Literally) now I’m going to have to have more help with him and I just hate it so much because I have the worst anxiety about him…

When do you find time

Previously I spent a lot of time working on my fitness and eating habits before getting pregnant. I’ve definitely let myself relax and enjoy pregnancy in a sense. A lot of my journey was because I wanted to get my PCOS symptoms under control so I could have a baby some day just didn’t think it would happen so soon. After you guys got cleared what time did you find worked the best for you? Pics at the gym pre pregnancy, I had lost 75lbs before finding out I was pregnant in February and I’ve gained at least 35lbs back 😭(technically like first weeks of pregnancy I didn’t know yet lol)

Mostly a rant

I’m still super early in my pregnancy, about 7 weeks (tomorrow lol) but I’ve already gotten a body pillow to get myself in the habit of sleeping on my side and sleeping with part of it between my thighs.
My husband will not stop complaining about how much space it takes up on the bed. It’s literally one of the ones that is basically just a long standard pillow.
Idk what he thinks is going to happen, especially the farther along I get. Like what is he going to say when I’m huge in the third trimester??
