Struggling with pregnancy

I feel really guilty saying this but I’m really struggling with being pregnant. It’s very much wanted and I’m so so grateful to even be in this position and can’t wait to meet the baby.

But I’m now 12+4 and have been puking non-stop since week 6. Suspected HG. I’ve not been able to go to work, so been home for the last 4 weeks on sick leave. I’ve been prescribed Xonvea which thank god takes the vomiting away and has left me nausea free until the evenings where it’s all back. But in turn it has given me horrible heartburn, which is so painful.

I’m getting to a place mentally where it’s just so incredibly hard. I’m really not enjoying being pregnant at all.

Is anyone in the same boat at all?

I didn't have it as bad as that but I really didn't like being pregnant the second time. I had to force myself to list positive things about being pregnant/ try to ignore that I was pregnant.

Having a good support system around helped too

Sorry to hear you're going through this. I had HG for the first 4 months, and I can remember how crap it felt. The medication helped, and Im glad you're on it as some counties dont have it. Its still horrid. But hope it will stop for you - for me it was 4 months til the nausea subsided and then I had quite a healthy and peaceful pregnancy, and felt much more happy. Fingers crossed it will pass soon 🙏
