When to announce pregnancy

Tell whoever you’re comfortable. If anything happens, it’s always nice to have a support group if need be.

As for public announcements, we waited until our anatomy scan for our first daughter. This time I’ll likely announce it mid second trimester.

I announced my pregnancy between 5-9 weeks to family and friends and 14 weeks to work and on social media.

I would choose to wait next time due to some peoples reactions, wanting for it to be just us who know for a little longer. Do better, more thought out announcements for some people etc

Not sure how long I would wait though as my kiddo may spill the beans lol

I waited until I was about 20 weeks - due to a miscarriage at the end of last year. I think its a very individual decision and there is no right or wrong time
