To think we have 6 weeks of the summer holiday then at the end of the 6 weeks, we have only 6 weeks left is crazy! The first 10 weeks of my pregnancy went so quickly so it feels like those last 12 weeks are gonna go fast!! I haven’t even got anything yet apart from the odd bits of clothing and my first’s neural clothes from when she was a baby!

Your post just made me smile , 12weeks indeed .. I hope it moves fast

Omd im the same 12 weeks left and i just want to do things now. I think maybe it’s the nesting kicking it but also panic haha. I had so much more time last pregnancy. This time my 2 year old has taken up all the time. I got rid of her dummy yesterday and I’m potty training next week so my time is flying by too. So unprepared this time. Need to sort it soon

Totally feel this 😅 I keep assuming this baby will be late too (my first two were 40+4 and 41+5) but every now and then have a panic that actually it's reasonable for him to arrive from 37 weeks which is even sooner than I've wrapped my head around!

I’m 29 weeks now and I’m starting to panic I’ve got everything ready for her arrival other than hospital bags. I think I’m gonna start packing them within the next 2-4 weeks due to having regular monitoring of her and have heard that sometimes they can induce because of it

Hi everyone. This might be a bit vulnerable to ask, but is there any single mum or mum-to-be in Aberdeen who is doing this mostly on her own and would be open to being friends?
I’m expecting my first baby and, if I’m honest, I’m really scared as it is approaching, of doing it alone with no help My family aren’t nearby, and most of my friends have their own families and responsibilities. I think having someone who understands this journey would make such a difference, especially during those first few weeks after the baby arrives.
I’m open to meeting any kind, supportive mums not just single mums. If you know of any mum groups, pregnancy groups, or new parent meet-ups in Aberdeen, I’d really appreciate the recommendations too. Thank you.

Hi, It's very normal to feel scared, even with 2nd/3rd etc. It's the same feelings. Completely normal.
I personally haven't found Peanut brilliant for in person connections. Based on what you are after a great place for you to contact now is Homestart Aberdeen. They have "making mum connections" groups and also peer support groups for free. They'll have a timetable of weekly meet ups. I'm fairly sure they do pregnant not delivered yet sessions.
Also try your local Council who will run events and meet ups at their family hubs and libraries which can include pregnant not delivered yet sessions.
Otherwise you have the paid for classes/ clubs.
