Bottle prep (formula)

Have tried pretty much every way possible at this point 😅
Now we are on anti reflux milk (which has to be done at 70 degrees and sit for 7 mins then you have to cool it down which was such a long process) I have settled on premaking four feeds at a time the old school way but water 70 degrees then add the formula. Then cooling down in a bowl of cold water for 10 mins so it gives time for the formula to thicken then put them in the fridge (can be stored for up to 24hrs) then take one out as needed and microwave for 30 secs (remember to take the teat off and to shake well after to get rid of any hot spots) just to take the chill off.
So far this is working really well for us, mainly due to the formula.
Plan on taking a small cool bag/lunch bag out with us when we go out with ice packs then a flask of boiling water (the tommee tippee flask with the white lid to pour it into to) and warm the bottle up that way.
With my first I used the prep machine exclusively at home then the rapid cools when out and about.

We were using the nuby Rapid cool both at home and out as it’s so easy but now she is having 5oz, we’re using the prep machine x

I wash & sterilise then put boiled water into the bottles to go cold and powder in pots then just mix and feed when needed 🤣 did the same with my first and it didn’t hurt him 🤷🏼‍♀️ (they have them at room temp)

I got myself in a right mess with all of this. Decided to just follow NHS guidlines in the end. We use a thermos flask that we refill throughout the day with boiling water. I use a food thermometer to check water is 70 degrees or more and pre measure formula into pots (at night). I mix the bottle when needed and use fridge water in a pot to sit the bottle in to cool it down to drinking temp. Takes around 5 mins. By the time I've changed her nappy the bottle is normal cooled enough to feed. I do this through the day too. When we are out we take our thermos and prefilled pots and bottles. I usually try to stop at a cafe and ask for ice to cool the bottle
