Baby daddy does not want to sign passport
I had a child with this guy we tried to make it work but it ended very nasty. At the time he lived with me and would give me money but when he moved out he didn’t give me anything at all. I did not put him on child support because I was and still to this day scared of his bad influences to my daughter (such as not brushing teeth, eating tons of sweets and junk food) when she was just 6 months he would put her in front seat of car with him and not even in her car seat….
Anyways we have kept contact over the past 2 years they instagram. He asks about his daughter and if he can see her.. he is very disrespectful towards me, immature, and childish..
I don’t have to let him see her legally because he doesn’t go establish paternity. I tried to get her sole custody but judge says I need to serve him. I have no idea where he lives I tried to find it. I really just want passport signed because he’s on birth certificate he needs to sign too but he says no and then laughs about it. Idk what to do. He asks for her and I say are you going to sign it. He says no then no you don’t get to talk to ur daughter. She doesn’t even ask for him. She is happy with her stepdad.he is amazing

What you need to do is find a family solicitor and they would apply to the family court for a Specific Issue Order using form C100. What this does is ask the judge for permission to get the passport without the other parent’s signature.

Is this UK or US. I have a 9year old with a different surname to me, she has her dad's and had no contact with him for nearly 3years now. Social deemed him a risk as he wouldnt complete a risk assessment to have contact. I applied for her passport it was approved and it doesn't need a signature as shes under 18
