No crawling or standing

Hi my baby is 13 months old today no standing no crawling she’s trying and pull herself to places she’s trying so hard bless her for 5 months but can’t figure it out. When I help her to stand she does it 2 secs while I hold her and lift legs up. She sits and sit up from laying down. She’s a very active baby constantly wants to move but just can’t figure it out. Does it worth to see the gp?

you can always speak with your health visitor. My baby only started to crawling at 11 months, and around 12 months, he can stand by himself for a minute

Honestly please

The days me and my baby girl (7m) stay inside for the day I keep her in her sleeper, I know there is nothing wrong with that but when it comes time for bed time, are we changing into new clean sleepers? Or no? After a couple of nights?

Also can I just say how much I love this app because i actually get friendly responses unlike fb groups and I’ve connected with a couple of moms already too

Stopping sterilising

My son is almost 5 months and has just started solid foods (I know it’s early but we were having problems with CMPA and trapped gas so it seemed like the best way to help him) I don’t sterilise his spoons, bowls and plates, they just get washed with hot soapy water. Can I stop sterilising his bottles too? Or should I be sterilising his plates and things? He goes swimming every week and ends up with pool water in his mouth and is constantly putting toys and his hands in his mouth it just seems pointless to me🤷🏻‍♀️ when did everyone else stop?

Colostrum harvesting..

I’m 37 weeks, and my midwife gave me syringes to start trying to get colostrum this week. I’ve tried a few times and out the one side I get nothing, and the other side one or two tiny beads. No where near enough to fill a syringe.

I’m completely new to this as didn’t know about it with my first. But does anyone have any tips or advice to get more? Or is it something that will become more - the more I do?

Thanks in advance ☺️

Sex after 3b tear?

I had my baby 16 weeks ago and my husband and I are yet to have sex. I feel so nervous about it as I sustained a 3b tear whilst giving birth to my daughter. I’ve been signed off by doctor but just don’t feel ready at all. I’ve tried bits whilst on my own to get into the swing but I’m very dry down there. Where it also ripped my clitirous when I go to check it’s all ok it feels as if it tears again so uncomfortable. My husband has been nothing but supportive but always feel so guilty when I turn him down. Im not breast feeding so wondering why I’m just not in the mood. Has anyone else experienced this and when did you get back into the “swing” of it?

Wake windows

My baby is coming up 5 weeks, over the past 5 days or so he is just completely fighting day time naps, previously he napped well in the day but now it’s so hard to get him to sleep, which is causing severe overtired ness & then affecting his night sleep.
I have another child so constantly monitoring his wake windows and constantly rocking him to sleep in the day is just impossible.
Sometimes he’s awake all evening until we take him upstairs at around 10pm despite me trying everything to get him to go off.
He was sleeping 3 hour stretches overnight but again over the past 5-7days or so is often waking hourly.
Has anyone else experienced or is experiencing this and has any tips?
