First time Single mum by choice

Hello ladies, for a few different reasons I decided to go on a solo mum journey, end of a long term relationship, the big 40 getting ever closer and the internal clock getting ever louder.

I have had 2 rounds of donations from a donor, last month we had a chemical pregnancy but took the positives from that, as I had never seen a positive pregnancy test, had another round of donations but convinced myself we had timed it wrong this month, tested out of curiosity as it was my 39th birthday last Monday and was supposed to go for some drinks, and got an extra little gift! 🥹

Very excited and also apprehensive I never expected this to work so quickly. Anyone else been on a similar journey would love to chat x

Found out yesterday! When do you plan to tell close friends and immediate family?

Did a pregnancy test yesterday and it was positive. My first! According to natural cycles, I’m 4 weeks 3 days but this date may change. Feeling a bit anxious and not sure I can wait till mid September to tell family and friends

Parenting when pregnant

How are any second time mum’s coping? I feel absolutely awful with nausea but still need to somehow run after and entertain my 2 year old all day!

I’m only 5w4d so it’s a long road ahead until the second trimester, and at this point in my first pregnancy I was napping lots and spending all evening in the bath, but can’t do either now 😭

Question for the mamas that have boys & girls

Were you sicker during the first trimester with your boy baby or with your girl baby?
