Advice for travelling abroad

Me and my little boy go to Egypt in November, he’ll be nearly 18 months at that point. I’ve put some fidget toys in my Amazon basket and plan to only give them to him on the plane so they’re new for him there. It’s a 5 hour flight, obviously snacks is a top choice too.
We are going with a big group of friends so will have lots of support as I’m a bit anxious for the flying - once we’re there I know he’ll love the holiday ( massive water baby ) it’s just the flight. Only problem is he’s very much a Mummy’s boy ( it’s always been just us ) so although I have lots of people to help - he most likely won’t want anyone else
Thank you x

We did a 4 hour flight with an 11 month old. She slept for half of it, had some food, looked around, nappy change, some more food and then some play time.. then it was ready for landing.

It is soooo stimulating in the airport which I think is part of the reason she was ready to sleep on the plane :)

I was so worried and she is also very much mummy's girl- especially in new situations but she was amazing. X
