I had my c section over 2 years ago now with my first, and want a VBAC this time round. Is anyone else feeling the same way? Or is going for an elective c section better? My c section absolutely traumatised me the first time round and honestly don’t think i could do that again.

My section was 3 years ago with my first and I'm definitely hoping for a VBAC this time (unless there is some issue between now and birth that indicates a c-section would be needed). I didn't mind the surgery itself but I can't face doing the recovery with a 3 year old and a newborn as I found it pretty hard the first time round!

I'm also going for a VBAC after a c-section 3 years ago. I hope I can do it. However, I was induced in my first pregnancy and didn't love the experience so I have a scheduled c-section booked if I go over a certain date I just don't want to go through induction again

I had an emergency c-section with my first two years ago in May I found recovery fine and fortunately had no issues. However this time I am planning to go for a VBAC as I would really like to give it a try again. Last time I ended up with a pessary due to PROM. I think that my body wasnt ready yet and the pessary forced my body into it which led to the c-section. I may factually be wrong but I had no contractions at all and after the pessary they were constant front and back and babies heart rate kept dropping in the end xx
