My baby is 3 days old,
She’s been pretty good, but tonight is the first night home and it’s really rough. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s different from her being in the hospital for a few days, or something else, but she won’t stop crying. I have noticed though after Breastfeeding her belly makes some noises, she ends up passing a lot to gas, poops, and ends up with hiccups, every single time today. So I’m not sure how to fix that problem, and I’m not sure if that could maybe be her reason of just crying.

Yeah, no one told me when I had my first baby either, we actually brought him to the ER in the hospital he was delivered in & unfortunately they always have/had to put in an IV & it was awful. We were there all night just to be informed that “babies tend to wake up on day 3”. Omg I was only 27, knew virtually nothing about babies & my ex knew even less. It was so embarrassing & I felt so awful to have put him through that, what’s worse is everyone was going on & on about how good he was before we left. Mine actually did quit crying as soon as we walked in the ER doors & other than the pokes, since it took them like 7 tries to get that IV in, he didn’t start crying again until we installed his car seat. It was a miserable few days, but all that screaming worked out his kinks & such, plus he’d seemingly learned how to get his bowels moving as well, so I guess it could’ve been worse. My 2nd took nearly 8w before he totally had that pushing thing down, but his “wake up” was quick bc I knew
