Autism in genetics?
Me and my child’s father have autism and I’m wondering if my child will have it too? My baby is only 6 months so I can’t tell of any signs so far.

It’s estimated to be 60-80% genetic factors that determine if somebody will end up autistic. Neither of my parents are diagnosed but both probably could’ve been.
I am autistic & my youngest half brother is as well.
My son isn’t diagnosed yet but we suspect he will be once he’s in the school system this September. I’d personally be shocked if I ever end up with a neurotypical child lol
I think it’s quite likely. I’m AuDHD and my daughter is in the process of getting diagnosed.
Likely ...but who knows I guess! I knew my daughter was around 6 M. She did some strange things and was overly calm and not bothered by anything
