Eczema flare up

My little girl (2 years) is dealing with yet another eczema flare up. We have been to the doctors today and been prescribed a steroid for her body, hydrocortisone for her face and have an antibacterial soap substitute alongside her usual zerobase & zeroderm that we already have to use daily.

Has anyone been able to get to the bottom of what's causing the eczema and flare ups? The lady we saw didnt really even look at her skin and openly advised me she doesn't really know what to suggest as its not her area of expertise. So she did a referral to the allergy team at our local hospital but I have no idea how long the waiting list is or what they can do for her so wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction while we wait. Happy to go private if anyone has any recommendations

Picture just so we don't get lost 🥰

We've never been able to identify the root cause of our boy's and that's with being under Dermatology and Paeds Allergy Clinic too.

There are just so many potential triggers. We know a few for sure for our boy and they're environmental which we can't eliminate so we are left just treating the symptoms rather than addressing the root cause.

It's frustrating but I've been in the same boat with my own eczema too so just used to managing it now I guess.
