Hiya, I’m a first time mum due in October and I can’t decide if I’m going to bottle or breast feed bubba once she’s here I feel like breast may be easier as baby has been clubfoot this means we will have to attend weekly hospital appointments and have to travel about a hour both ways not including appointment time which will be long as baby will bathed and weighed etc in between cast change so I don’t want to be worried about having enough formula on top of this, any advice greatly appreciated please.

I planned to breastfeed with bottles used by dad/as needed but ultimately waited until the baby was here to see what happened/buy any equipment for bottle feeding. I ended up exclusively breastfeeding as that worked best for us. I was glad I didn't spend lots of money on things that didn't get used. I did try pumping for family to look after him but only did that twice so just bought what I needed as the situations arose. I think that is my main advice in general about prepping for a baby, you don't need as much as you think and most things can be bought after the baby comes and you work out how you/baby prefer things to be!
