IUD

I'm curious about fellow moms thoughts/experiences... I'm deciding between morena and para guard IUD post partum for birth control.

I had the Marina IUD when I was 19. I felt it everyday and it hurt like hell.
I didn't have it very long.

Now my best friend had it for 16 years obviously that was way too long but it is what it is. And she literally got pregnant the next month when she had it removed. She had no issues

I had the marena a few years back. I hated it. This may end up a bit TMI just an FYI. 1. The string that was supposed to hang down disappeared within the first two months of having it. Thought something happened and had to get it checked. The "T" was in perfect position, so that's good. Later when I removed it, it turns out the string coiled up and stayed nestled in my cervix. 2. I still got my period while on it, which wasn't a problem in itself. The problem was my period had changed. Instead of the normal types of blood one would expect through out a normal menses, it was brown and sludgy. It was just disgusting and I had held out hoping it would change but it never did. After about a year and a half I gave up and had it removed. 3. While it didn't make my cramps worse, it changed the way they felt, and I didn't like it.

I personally wouldn't do an IUD again. But I had a friend who got one the same week I did and she loved it. So I think people's experiences and how their body reacts is just different.

Was on the Mirena for a year had acne (the tiny deep zits) no period but doesn't like the acne and the fact that every two months I felt pregnancy symptoms couldn't check the strings as they were cut short and curled up in my cervix. Took it out and went back on the pill. Acne stayed the same but got tired of paying every month a single pack of pills. Just got a new Mirena put in last month. Remember, each body does respond differently to birth control what works for one may not work for the other.

You’re pregnant!

In this very moment, if you were to get a positive pregnancy test, would your immediate reaction be feeling happy?

There is a faint line right?

This was read within the 3-5min testing window.
There is a faint line and I'm not seeing things?

IUI question

Hi everyone! 🤍 I’m new to this app and wanted to introduce myself. I’m currently 6 days past my trigger shot and 4 days past my first IUI, and I’m trying my best to stay positive while also reminding myself that implantation usually doesn’t happen until around 6–10 days after ovulation.

I know every journey is different, but I’d love to hear your stories. Did anyone have any symptoms this early on? Or did you have no symptoms at all and still end up pregnant?

I’d also love to hear from anyone who was lucky enough to get pregnant on their very first IUI. I know everyone’s experience is unique, but hearing your stories would really give me some hope while I wait through these next couple of weeks.

Wishing everyone here so much love and baby dust. Thank you for letting me be part of this community. 🤍✨

High HcG?

Ok. So we were trying to wait until September before ttv, but looks like God had other plans?? Period isn't for a few more days as I think i ovulated around 7/24? This seems pretty strong for a 430pm pee, and holding it for only 2 hours? Would that make any difference with my urine not being so concentrated? Lh strip for reference as well
