Hello!
I was hoping for some encouraging stories about getting induced? Im currently 41 weeks and tomorrow (08-6-26) at 7:30pm hes officially getting evicted from my uterus
(well the process starts for that) lol both my other kiddos where natural and came on their own time. I guess im just nervous and people keep telling me the process is worse than going into natural labor, im just hoping for some tips & encouragement. Thank you!

I was induced Saturday at 41+5. Check in to birth was 32 hours but the first 17 hours were chill with sort of cramping as they introduced misoprostol, then 3 hours with tougher labor after my water broke then epidural bliss for the rest of delivery including when they introduced pitocin to keep things moving. The epidural worked fantastically and made the rest seem like a big nothing-burger.

Hi! My first baby was induced at 41 weeks, honestly it wasn’t really all that bad compared to natural (i just had my second baby a week ago). It’s definitely a difference experience for everyone but I also wouldn’t go into it stressed out that makes a bad time for anything. I will say the pitocin contractions do suck more than natural but that’s really my only complaint with getting induced, make sure you have a filling but also light meal beforehand because for me induction made me not want to eat. I also bet since this is your 3rd kid it could very well be pretty quick, i was only in labor for 8 hours with my induction. Wishing you the best of luck girl and a smooth easy quick labor!
