I don't want my baby in daycare at all they are always getting sick

But for your problem I would want my baby going there without cameras either .

Girl you’re not crazy at all! Daycares should have cameras in the rooms regardless. The amount of stuff that happens to children in daycares is ridiculous and makes me terrified. So there’s no blaming you

Absolutely not.

Our daycare is in someone's home (wouldn't expect them to have cameras) and the daycare is amazing. She gives a home type environment. The cameras can give a sense of security but you might miss out on someone great as well if you determine on that solely. Centres often have cameras but don't provide a home feel.

I worked at a daycare that had fake cameras… Do not put your child in a daycare that doesn’t have cameras or fake cameras. I literally witnessed the lead teacher I was working with smack a child on their hand in front of a parent that was coming in to the room to get their kid. Whenever I reported to the director, she didn’t believe me and refused to report her. That daycare is the reason why I’m no longer working in childcare.

I worked at kindercare for 2 years (they don’t do cameras) I would say if u click and like the director / teachers I would say yes we were always treating every kid with love and care but you have to click and like the environment and curriculum!!

Are you saying a daycare with no cameras at all or just no cameras that you can access and look in on them?

I think there should be cameras in general. I am okay not being able to monitor myself though because people are weird and I don't want other people looking in and watching my kid....

Daycares should have cameras, we work opposite shifts so I never even have to guess. It’s me or my so with him!

What baby wipes would you recommend?

I currently do use water wipes but there so bloody expensive i have tried lidl Aldi pampers non of them really do compare.

Contact naps

I know contact naps at 2 weeks old are absolutely normal, but if your baby doesn’t contact nap and is perfectly happy falling asleep on their own… how do you do it?? My little one at the moment will only nap with me if swaddled, rocked and on me, which is exhausting and rather painful if I stand for too long… what’s your trick?!

Is anyone else really jealous and just annoyed when other people are holding your baby?

Like when my baby is crying or fussy, please hand them back to me… also getting really annoyed when people are begging to watch my baby alone.. 🥴 like why do you want my baby so bad type of thing?…

If so, did you ever get better with your emotions and learned to trust people with your baby?.. I just can’t imagine letting someone else care for my child as my parents themselves never handed me off to anyone unless it was blood family..
