Something short worked for us.
Just a quick wipe down or bath, diaper, pjs , feed, sound machine on

My only recommendation is to do the same thing every night, mom of 3 here. I made sure I did this around the same time every night, warm bath and baby massage right out of bath with lotion and made sure the lights were dim so they know it’s sleeping time, if breastfeeding sometimes I would breastfeed right before or provide a bottle and make sure they were full. The hatch machine Aldi worked wonders!!

We have a bath, go downstairs in a dimly lit room to read a book, put his sleeping bag on, last feed of the evening in the bedroom with white noise on :) xx

With my first we did wipe down, massage and last feed of the night in bedroom. With this one I put the older one to bed while dad watches TV with lights off downstairs and does feed and rock to sleep. He brings her up when I'm ready to get into bed. If it's a bath day we do that earlier in the evening and then she starts her routine

Humping

Because another parent gave me the strenght to talk about this.

My daughter is 28 months diagnosed level 2 and she has sensory needs as well for the past few months she has been “humping” to self soothe herself I would like to know for parents who dealt with this what would be a healthy way to deal with it ? How did your redirect to maybe let’s say a pillow but in the bedroom only and things like that she is considered non verbal but she follows instructions really well if helps at all ♥️ thank you for your advices im just trying to see if it would be okay to redirect to an appropriate area to do it rather than just trying to make it stop if it’s helping her regulate

Overfeeding anxiety

My baby boy turns 7 weeks old tomorrow. He was 4 kg-8 lbs 13 oz when he was born and he’s already over 6.8 kg (15 lbs)!
I started with expressed breast milk but for the last couple of weeks I’ve been breastfeeding.
I’m super worried he’s gaining weight way too fast. My midwife, doctor, and hv all told me it’s totally normal for a breastfed (expressed or not) baby, but I’m still anxious about it.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? I constantly have this fear that I'm doing something wrong and overfeeding him.

Contact naps

I know contact naps at 2 weeks old are absolutely normal, but if your baby doesn’t contact nap and is perfectly happy falling asleep on their own… how do you do it?? My little one at the moment will only nap with me if swaddled, rocked and on me, which is exhausting and rather painful if I stand for too long… what’s your trick?!

Formula

What formula brand do you guys suggest for newborns?

It’s my first baby and I’m genuinely stuck on what formula to get and what formula would be best🫣

Am due in December!
