Labour?

40+4, had sudden contraction start about an hour ago, no signs beforehand other than pressure. They're painful and irregular, sometimes 2 minutes apart sometimes 5 minutes apart?!
Confused as what to do? Don't wanna go in and get sent home but it seems close together and already painful i thought they'd come on soft and grow in intensity

Don't go in. Keep monitoring it, I think there is advice on NHS website on when to go in to hospital. Sounds like it is too early. Relax at home until you know for sure it is time to go.

I'm monitoring on an app for now but it's already so much more painful than I thought it'd be at the start, almost scared for it to get worse🫠
App is telling to me get ready and shower/ have a meal etc so going to stubborn it out as long as I can

How’s everything going? 4 contractions in 10 mins is when I’d ring, it’s then active/established labour xx

Sex after c-section…

I’m 10 weeks pp and still haven’t had sex. My stomach is still super sensitive and I don’t feel sexy AT ALL, and just wondered if this is normal and when c-section mamas started being intimate again?

TMI maybe

To anyone who had an episiotomy, did you have twisted skin around where the cut was?

Is it rude to ask xtra adults to pay for entering play place for kids birthday party?

We’re planning my son’s 5th bday at an indoor play place and you only get free entry for adults accompanied by children. Additional adults are 10-15 dollars each which adds up quickly. We’re having a separate cake and presents thing outside of this for extended family (aunts, uncles, grandparents) that don’t have kids but some of these people want to come to the play place too. Would it be rude to ask them to pay the fee for them to come? I tried to explain that the kids just play the whole time so it won’t be like they would spend a lot of time with the birthday boy anyways. What do you think?

VBAC mamas

Those that are hoping for a VBAC how are you all feeling?

I’m 38 weeks tomorrow and I can’t help but feel impatient, the thought that if I opt for a section means baby will be here next week is so tempting but I also really want to try for the VBAC!

Anybody else feeling like this!?
