Vaccines

My baby has just had her 12 month injections and she’s been absolutely fine she’s smiling and chatty but I’ve noticed her on thigh is so swollen and red I’m a little bit worried about it so talked to a nurse and was told it’s normal but it doesn’t seem normal to me
Wondering if anyone else has had bad swelling and redness we are on day 2

My son has this!
He has an egg allergy and there’s a trace of egg in the vaccine, I was told to expect some redness and swelling around the injection site due to his allergy

Contact naps

I know contact naps at 2 weeks old are absolutely normal, but if your baby doesn’t contact nap and is perfectly happy falling asleep on their own… how do you do it?? My little one at the moment will only nap with me if swaddled, rocked and on me, which is exhausting and rather painful if I stand for too long… what’s your trick?!

BF poo 💩

Does anyone else’s breastfed baby’s poop have mucous in it? Is this normal? It’s not a lot but it is every diaper, I’ve read that it is normal and I’ve read that it can signal CMPA. I worry because he is super gassy/has colic as well.

Newborn sleeping through night

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone else has been through this. My 2 and a half week old baby feeds really well during the day, and over the past few nights he has started sleeping for longer stretches overnight.

I’ve been waking him for feeds, but he is now above his birth weight, so I’m wondering if I still need to wake him or if I can let him sleep until he wakes himself.

I’ve started letting him sleep for around 5 hours instead of waking him at 4, but I can’t help worrying whether I’m doing the right thing. Has anyone else been in this position?
