I’m pregnant!

Hi all,

Just found out I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant after a C-section 8 months ago. If you couldn’t guess, I am nervous.

The one time we have sex without a condom (a moment of passion by me trying to feel desired again) and I bloody get pregnant! It took 2 years to conceive my first so I wasn’t expecting this at all. Obviously I know that having sex can lead to this😂 it’s just crazy the only time without a condom😭

I think I’m just looking for reassurance from mums who have gotten pregnant before the recommended wait time.

Am I crazy for feeling worried, scared and happy and not happy all at the same time?

First congrats! I'm a mom of 2 under 2. I got pregnant with my 2nd at 7 months post partum. Your feelings are completely valid. I can tell you that i was monitored a little bit more closely because of how close my pregnancies were.

My oldest is turning 2 in a week and an my little one is 8 months old now. They will grow up together and thats what i look forward to

Hiiiiii I was in the exact same boat as you back in January….literally

I had a c section last year in April it wasnt a planned pregnancy and we was having unprotected sex for 3 years prior but nothing so after my daughter was born I didn’t think I would get pregnant again so quickly

But I was wrong I’m not 33 weeks pregnant with my second and due end of September

Please don’t worry or stress I would say that the only thing is you will get even more back pain compared to your first pregnancy but other wise don’t worry just make sure you have a good support system friends or family so you still can get plenty of rest while your first is starting to walk run and crawl in your last few weeks

Baby number 2!

Morning girlies🥰 I have just found out I’m pregnant again! Very early of course!
My anxiety is through the roof! My first pregnancy wasn’t very nice as I suffered with hypermesis gravidarium for the whole 9 months☹️
I’m really hoping this time will be different but I am so so scared! Anything anyone can say to help calm my nerves😅❤️

High Blood Pressure

Has anyone been diagnosed with High Blood Pressure early in their pregnancy (before 20 weeks), not ended up with Pre Eclampsia and had a stress free birth? My 1st pregnancy went smoothly but I didnt end up having the waterbirth that I wanted. I was hoping we would be able to skip the labour ward this time and use the midwife led Birthing Centre instead. My BP is currenrly too high and they want me to have growth scans every 3 weeks once im over 23 weeks.
