Recommended time to get pregnant again?

So I was told in an ideal world not to have another baby until 2 years after my current baby. Is it getting pregnant until 2 years or giving birth?
Ideally I'd like to have my babies closer together(due to my own age etc)

I never got told about the wait other than the usual 6 week check. I have 14 months between my girls and never had any issues but its down to you and how you feel. If you feel ready for another one (mentally and physically) I don't think there's a right of wrong answer

In the UK, it’s recommended that you wait 18-24 months to conceive. However, it’s entirely your choice and also depends if you’re wanting a VBAC (longer you wait better the chances). You can just expect to be monitored a bit more closely if you do not wait as there are increased risks but many women get pregnant and have babies before the recommended time 💗
