Reflux

My baby has reflux so bad, I’ve talked to the drs and everything and I just feel at a loss. The moment we lay him down he aspirate and I hate to see him in pain. We started famotadine a couple days ago but he’s still looking like he’s in pain. Has anyone else been through this? What did yall do? Maybe im being impatient with the medicine.

hey, my baby went through the same thing. it’s so hard as the doctors dismiss it and say it’s not a big problem but it’s not easy seeing your baby go through this at all so i really feel for you both!! keep at it with the medicine, keep him upright after feeds - at least 30 mins after every feed, get a good burp after every feed, try to get him to sleep in anti reflux positions only and once he’s over the 6 months periods there’s a lot of home remedies that help too. My son is now 4 and he’s been completely off any GERD medications for over 2years and we manage it through diet so well
