Acorn Suite at Tameside
Has anyone had any experience birthing here? Is it ‘easy’ to get a space in there at any given time?
I am a FTM at 32 weeks and at the moment (touch wood) I am considered low risk.
I would love to be able to have my baby here. I’ve heard amazing things.

I had my little girl at the Acron Birth Centre back in January. It was a lovely experience with a dedicated midwife and support worker throughout. If your pregnancy continues to be low risk I'd definitely recommend it but its open all depends on if they have the right staff at the time.
Agree i had my first back in 2022 in the birth centre and was lovely hands on staff Constant check ins. My second was planned for the birth centre again but when i got there beds were full so we had to go on the labour/maternity ward (other side) and wait but my son wasn't waiting and was born 15 minutes later haha
