I’m 1 week post c section, I had to go back into hospital so this is my 3/4th night at home. This is my second section too
I have propped up 2 pillows, and an Ikea V Pillow behind me, and then I use the weight of my arms to move me up/down/to the side. I sleep semi upright, as it’s easier than lying down and trying to get up
I also have another pillow I use to sleep across my lower tummy over my c section, incase anything happens but also as some sort of pressure when trying to sit up

I’m 12 days post surgery and This is my second c section too. The first few nights are the hardest in terms of getting up from lying down and getting in and out of bed. I haven’t changed how I sleep, but did sleep on my back the for the first week and can now turn to the side. My husband helped with all the get ups for the first 3/4 nights but I can manage on my own now.
We have also left a gap between our bed and the next to me, so I’ve got room to swing my legs round rather than having to shuffle down the bed which has helped loads!
