Hospital bag…

I’m 32 weeks today and starting to get my head around packing a hospital bag ready again… where has the time gone!
My son is 20 months, so I should remember everything I packed the last time, but my mind is pretty much blank… I’m guessing baby brain!
Any ideas or top packs? I know the one thing I was thankful for was my hand held fan. (Hoping if things go to plan, it will be a planned C section again due to my health conditions.)

One of my friends has just done mine for me, but she ordered those packing bags that are labelled so it’s easier for midwives / birth partner to find things and they give a good starting point.

But my bag so far (and I’ll probably add my own bits).
Baby:
Nappies
Cotton wool / wipes
Nappy bags
Sanitiser wipes (Milton)
Muslin cloths
Baby vests (two sizes because I’m measuring small at the minute)
Sleep suits (two sizes because I’m measuring small at the minute)
Going home outfit
Blanket
Swaddle

Mum:
Dark towel
Dark flannels
Flip flops
Long sleeve button up pyjamas
Short sleeve button up pyjamas
Bikini (I want a water birth)
Maternity pads
Disposable tena knickers
Regular large knickers (incase I hate the disposable ones)
Mums going home outfit
Hand sanitizer

Feeding:
Pre-made aptimil baby bottles with teats (incase my milk hasn’t come in)
Colostrum (if I can get any before I go into hospital myself)

Lucozade sport
Snacks - Crisps / cereal bars / sweets. Easy to grab things

I ran out of room but that’s my basic packed bag now if I go early, I’m sure as I get closer to due date there will be lots more added as I see other people’s lists or read things online.

I’d add multiple baby hats to the above, a few as my baby got his mucky straight away. Long phone charger, white noise, fan as it’ll still be hot in hospitals

After I gave birth I have things bulging out of my vagina ! My doctor said it’s normal most women that have birth vaginas look like that but she recommended I do some kegel exercises and not worry about it , but I can’t help it

Did u have the same experience?

4lb baby

I’m due to have a planned c-section at 38+1 due to intrauterine growth restriction (I’ve had many complications with my placenta but luckily he’s managed to hold on in there until 38 weeks!) however my placenta is worsening and he’s dropped to the 2nd centile and his weight is currently only 3.9lb (I know their measurements can be off).

I’m wanting to know if anyone has had a teeny tiny but full term baby and whether they needed extra support in the hospital? My understanding is he may need help with his feeding & body temp - I’m hoping not breathing. I’ve been warned he may need an NG tube. I’m very open to all of this support but would just like to hear if other people have been in this position and if so, what did it look like for you & how long were you in the hospital for? 👶🏼

Not much movement

I’m 27 weeks tomorrow and I’ve not felt much movement since Sunday. I have an anterior placenta so I just keep thinking he’s tucked himself back up behind my placenta again and I’ve just been incredibly lucky the last two weeks to have felt him kicking me and tapping me back after I prod him and playing little games.
The only way I can explain the movements is like muscle spasms a few times a day and then l have idea how to explain the pressure or sensation just above my pubic bone.
Do you think I should go to the hospital?
