I’m 39 weeks pregnant tomorrow and due to be induced. If I’m being completely honest; I am petrified!
Everything I read is talking about how long and painful the process is and that it can take days still for baby to arrive. I have no idea what to expect upon arrival and could really do with some truthful stories so I can mentally prepare. I appreciate you sharing your experiences!

I havent been induced and no conversation about it for me with this 3rd one but its just remembering you have choices and it is good to know them all, xx

I have my second induction 15 days ago and I had a positive experience. It was long but it was positive. I did up for the epidural toward the end, but I managed to have my son without the need for any stitches. He was delivered at 2 am. I was home by 3 pm and stood watering my garden at 6 🥹

I was really scared before my induction too because I had heard so many bad stories, but mine was a positive experience. I was induced on Saturday at 40+4 had a much better experience than I did with my first with spontaneous labour. I got the balloon put in at 9:20pm it fell out at 5am I had my waters broken at 7. I was put on the oxytocin drip at 11 because my contractions were still 15 minutes apart. After that things went really quick, my contractions picked up and baby boy was born at 1:56pm. I only used gas and air for pain relief. No tears, and baby boy was born healthy.
