Hello lovely people , I’ve had pelvic girdle pain since 8 weeks im now 28 weeks and it has only gotten worse I attend physio , have a belt ect and do everything as instructed . I mentioned it to my midwife today and she said we can talk about getting induced , wondering if anyone else is getting induced or has been previously and how many weeks they are going to be / were , thank you x

Hiya, I’m nearly 29 weeks and pelvic girdle pain has just started and it’s so painful so I really feel for you having it since 8 weeks, hope you’re ok!! Just interested why the midwife has suggested induction, is that because you’re in pain or if pelvic girdle pain means baby is at risk? Thanks!

I’m 29 weeks + 3 and I’ve been signed off work for the pelvic pain. I’ve tried the belt. Ball and paracetamol but nothing helps, have they not offered you stronger pain meds or perhaps crutches ?

4lb baby

I’m due to have a planned c-section at 38+1 due to intrauterine growth restriction (I’ve had many complications with my placenta but luckily he’s managed to hold on in there until 38 weeks!) however my placenta is worsening and he’s dropped to the 2nd centile and his weight is currently only 3.9lb (I know their measurements can be off).

I’m wanting to know if anyone has had a teeny tiny but full term baby and whether they needed extra support in the hospital? My understanding is he may need help with his feeding & body temp - I’m hoping not breathing. I’ve been warned he may need an NG tube. I’m very open to all of this support but would just like to hear if other people have been in this position and if so, what did it look like for you & how long were you in the hospital for? 👶🏼

Growth Scan problems

Hiii growth scan today and just want to know everyone's opinions as ive left upset and feel like i dont know how worried to be!! Im 35weeks plus 1 and baby is now breach they've said they are worried about his growth and im now on weekly scans as he looks around 5lbs is this really small or??? Worried for baby and had planned to do a natural birth so its all just knocked me back a bit

They've basically told me the only option is a c section at 38/39 weeks unless he moves on his own

Hospital bag…

I’m 32 weeks today and starting to get my head around packing a hospital bag ready again… where has the time gone!
My son is 20 months, so I should remember everything I packed the last time, but my mind is pretty much blank… I’m guessing baby brain!
Any ideas or top packs? I know the one thing I was thankful for was my hand held fan. (Hoping if things go to plan, it will be a planned C section again due to my health conditions.)

Thoughts on name

I personally really like the name Wilfred nn Wilf/Freddie and my husband is on board as well

I want it to wear well throughout their life… thoughts on if it’s a strong name, is it ‘mockable’ in anyway ??
