October babies coming early

So I been hearing and seeing that these october babies are trying to make an entrance too early any mamas deliver way early than their due date?? I'm gestational and type 2 diabetic I'm supposed to deliver at 39 weeks.

I might also deliver at 39 weeks but only if the hospital is not able to offer a VBAC. I should know more within the month!

I had a dream about labor and delivery the other night and October 8th was plastered all over in said dream which would be 39+1 for me. I definitely feel like she might come a little early because my bump has already started dropping but I'm hoping she stays put until at least the 1st because I really want an October baby 😅 I'm also looking into the possibility of a VBAC and will meet with a doctor at my 34 week appointment to figure out if I'm a good candidate.

I'm hoping my little girl hangs out where she is because I still have a lot to do before she arrives... But I'm betting end of Sept for mine.

My reasoning? I went to see one of my favorite bands, had my first bout of morning sickness in the bathroom, and 5 days later found out I was pregnant. I'm going to see them again on Sept 24th... And I just have this *feeling* that the symmetry means baby will be here a few days later. Is this good reasoning? No. Is it based on science? No. It is simply a vibe haha.

i feel the exact same, i’m due october 5th but i have had such a weird vibe that she’ll come like one of the last weeks of september. i thought i lost part of a mucus plug yesterday but i don’t know bc it was not a lot of anything and im just paranoid😂 so nervous bc it’s my first baby and im still preparing myself but i don’t know if you ever fully feel ready!! these october 2026 babies are just excited to get here!!

The staff room at work had these little cookie cake type things and they tasted so good, like marzipan! They’re little flower shapes but I can’t seem to find them online and no one in the building knows where they came from apparently 😫😫😫

Growth Scan problems

Hiii growth scan today and just want to know everyone's opinions as ive left upset and feel like i dont know how worried to be!! Im 35weeks plus 1 and baby is now breach they've said they are worried about his growth and im now on weekly scans as he looks around 5lbs is this really small or??? Worried for baby and had planned to do a natural birth so its all just knocked me back a bit

They've basically told me the only option is a c section at 38/39 weeks unless he moves on his own

Silly question: if you felt like you were going to give birth BEFORE 40 weeks, were you right?

I know this is a weird question, but if ever during pregnancy you felt like you were going to go into labour sooner than 40 weeks.... Were you correct. Just curious

I’m being emergency induced at 39+4 weeks pregnant for the size of my babies head 🤣

So his head is on the larger side, has been for weeks. I’ve been told if he stays inside cooking, it could get even bigger. His head isn’t and probably won’t engage to start natural labour because it’s so big 🤣 I just feel like…that’s an absolute hilarious thing to tell him when he’s older hahaha and I feel very immature about it. He’s completely healthy otherwise.

Anyway, they did say it could end in a c-section because it might get stuck or completely tear me to shreds, which I’m more scared of a c-section which is why I’ve opted for the induction, has this ever happened to anyone else? My first was easy, I had no issues whatsoever. This one seems a lot scarier 🥲 not to mention my family aren’t supporting me as much as they were before they knew I was being induced, my SIL is due via c-section on 1st September, and they’ve all been saying how my son will be born on the same day as him or after, but now that he’s coming this week…they have been distant and their energy has switched up massively. No excitement, no joy, like nothing they would usually be saying/doing. Almost like I’ve just told them the weather and they’ve nodded along and said oh….

I have name options. I have my preferences, partner has his. I have a favourite on this list and so does he, there are only 2 we have fully agreed!
