Starting foods

Anyone starting solids at 4 months. While I know best practice says 6 months, other general guidelines say 4-6. I thought freezing purées would be a fun way to start. I freeze his milk to help with teething so the feeder is familiar to him already. Is there actually any harm in starting now- I couldn’t find definitive research one way or the other

My baby is 4.5 months , he sits pretty good , so we were given the okay !👌🏾 I gave him avocado last week and carrots today! It’s easy on his tummy and he’s doing good . My pediatrician told us to make sure he sits pretty good so his stomach has the strength to digest

Porridge for a 7month old

Can I give this porridge to my 7 month old?? Or do I need to keep giving ‘baby porridge’ ?
Thank you

Am i being unreasonable?

So, my little girl is almost 16 months old. I split up from her dad when she was around 4 months old. He has been having her overnight at his parents every weekend but i have told him that i would occasionally like to have her on the weekends so i can do enjoyable things with her? He doesnt seem to do much with her apart from going to the local park and staying in the house so i just feel a but bad about her missing out on fun things?
Whenever i do tell him that id like to have her on a certain weekend, he tends to start an argument and threaten me with mediation sessions?
However i feel like allowing my 1 year old to stay away from me every weekend is generous of me? Its only that perhaps once a month id like to have her om a weekend day? He only wants to have her both saturday and sunday as he lives an hour away and thinks its too much driving just to spend one day with her?
Am i being unreasonable for occasionally wanting to have my daughter on a weekend?

Is he trying to stop me from going out /is this normal

So I go out probably once or r twice a month not every month. Now at first my partner (boyfriend ) would say he doesn’t want me leaving to go out after 11pm which was crazy because 30+ chances are they usually start late. Then he says he doesn’t want me out past 2 am then he says the door will be locked 5am (usually back by then so that’s ridiculous) it just sounds like he doesn’t want me to go out

I swear Imma lose some brain cells

So I just left my 36 week appointment and I updated my sons father. After I told him how the appointment went, he gone say we need to talk.
I told him I can’t do it next week because I have college classes next week and work so I’ll be busy. He proceeded to ask me how I’m going to do this when I’m about to have our son.
I told him just because I’m having our son doesn’t mean I’m not going to stop going to school. He then proceeded to say how’s he going to have our son but how am I going to manage all this.
I said that it’s not going to be just him watching him and it’s going to be my mom or one of my sisters too and he then said no it’s going to be just him so I doubled down and said no it’s going to be my mom or my sisters as well. I’m guessing I pissed him off because he looked at it and didn’t respond

Resentment 😢

Hi all, I’m 12 weeks pp now and I’ve started to resent my partner quite a bit and I feel awful for it.. he does what he can to help around the house, he’s working so I can have a full year off maternity, he takes the baby and does the evening routine so I get time to myself but I do notice he gets more alone time than I do and I envy him for it. At the same time I love being with my baby too and sometimes I will join bath time before his dad takes him to bed with his bottle (I EBF throughout the night and day apart from this one feed). He obviously gets full nights sleep and I haven’t since I was 20 weeks pregnant so whenever he says he’s tired it infuriates me! He was fantastic when I was pregnant and postpartum when he wasn’t working but it’s almost like he sees me as ‘back’ but I’m still breastfeeding and with the baby all day on my own. I have also just started my first period so not sure if it’s my hormones but everything he says annoys me, I can’t even think about being affectionate or intimate at all 😭 What do I do?
