Cough

I’m more just writing this to see if any other mamas have experienced this. My two year old has had a horrible cough for 2 weeks now that make her throw up. Her doctor gave her amoxicillin but we are 5 days in and it’s not making a difference. We will be seeing her again later this week. But wanted to ask for anything to helps relief her or any mommas have experienced this.

My son went through this. We started him in camp this summer (first time he’s ever attended a group setting) so he caught a lot of stuff. He’s literally been sick since the first week of June on and off. I was at the pediatrician at least 1x per week. They tested him yesterday via swab and he came back positive for THREE diff viruses (RSV, Rhino and aendo) . If your 2 year old doesn’t have an infection, the antibiotics won’t do much. Maybe see what they can give her for the cough. Sorry :(

Push for tests get swabbed. Antibiótics are so loosely prescribed :(
